Singapore was a good first step in Asia: a mix between Asian and occidental culture. Now it’s time to go to a less occidental town, a town where you don’t get a fine if you litter, a town where you negotiate before you buy, a town where you can get a massage for a bunch of euros on the side of the street next to 10 other costumers, a town famous for her night markets : Bangkok.

It may be dirty and crowded, Thai’s smile are so warm you don’t really care about the rest, you enjoy wondering in the smallest street to see day to day Thai life and you’re happy they try to help you even if they don’t know a word of English. They will call all the family and neighborhood to the rescue if need be to help you.

It feels so good to see so much solidarity toward foreign people!

If only more occidental people could do the same.
