Majorque #9 – Miro’s foundation

Oddly enough, in the middle of a day in march, we were so eager for shade that we ran to Miro’s foundation. Not a really good choice for shade since a good part is taking place outside… but still a nice place to visit.DSC_0654

The most interesting part, is the access to his working places like this funny shaped and colorful building.

No picture can make you feel the impression you get inside those buildings. It’s full of small objects that inspired him. Those objects go from working tool to postcard all the way through old kitchen stuff and dolls. The places where he could work where huge rooms, some artist rooms with the huge windows on the north side, and other just usual buildings’ rooms. In those places, he used the walls to sketch his ideas. Just imagine, huge sketch on the walls of an almost empty house. And just sketch, like just black charcoal pencil, no more… that would be so nice to be able to do that…
