When I was this high,
it is said that I had only two passions :
- food (preferably with chocolate),
- Mickey Mouse.
That second legend comes from my first meeting with Mickey, in Florida. I was 3, and my father says I was jealous of Minnie Mouse. Somehow, I’m not so jealous anymore.
Anyway, ever since that time, it is true that I’ve been quite found of theme parks. At one point, playing the eponymous computer game was even one of my hobbies. So, of course, when we planned this trip to London, I had to plan a visit to…
Warner Bros’ studios
a visit to Harry Potter’s world.
Actually, I was curious to see what they could show over there. Ok, people worked there for Harry Potter movies for over 10 years. But what where they actually able to show visitors ?
The answer ?
Everything !
Real settings, accessories, constructions, pre and post productions…
Whatever you are looking for around those movies, there’s a good chance you will find it there. Whether you are a kid, looking for some fun details from your favorite movie or a not so fan adult coming with your kids, you will find instructive and amazing stories on how those movies where made.
Sure, it’s not an all attractions theme park, but it’s a real dive in Harry Potter’s making of. You will discover so many things you never even imagine existed in this story!
Like, did you know they had at least 4 owls to play Hedwige and one of them had for only job to stay in her cage ?
And have you ever noticed that cake in the movies ?
And all those mice !
