Here comes the moment we came here for, 5:45 A.M., Agni and Dinesh wake us up with the usual singing ball and hot tea combination and we have 15 minutes to get ready.

Still sleepy, with my tea cup in one hand and still my flip flops on my feet, we hurry up to the parapet to look at the first rays of light on the top of the world. The highest snows color up with some light pink turning slowly to bright gold.
