When you walk along the night market, you sometimes wonder if everything they sell is handcrafted and made in Laos. Some for sure aren’t, like the pants labeled “made in Thailand”. But for others you can wonder… you wonder until you walk along the closest village and you see people at work : making the colorful papers, preparing the even more colorful lampshade balls etc.

So yes, most of what they sell is handcrafted and handcrafted nearby.
