Hey, it’s the week-end, in Sydney it means time to celebrate !
Celebrate what ?
Whatever you want : the upcoming chinese new year (10 days before the D day), tomatoes (yes, there is a tomato festival), Greek culture (why not ?) or simply the summer and the week end itself.
What’s different from a festival in Paris ?
Well, here people don’t run away because of the rain. They pack under the trees and keep enjoying the good food from the festival they came to visit. And here, they enjoy colorful umbrellas. It’s not just all shades of black and grey but pink, purple, blue, red, with flower on it…
Although summer vacations are over, it’s still summer time in Sydney. The city offers nice open air cinemas. You can chose between the deluxe version in front of the national monuments.
And the simpler version on the grass.
Here, no need to wait for the night to fall for the movie to start : the film starts at 6 :00 P.M. so you have all the time you want to enjoy a diner afterwards if you haven’t got your own picnic and you don’t have to rush to take the last train home.
