On Auckland’s west coast, there are some famous beaches. Famous because they are nice looking long beaches with glittering brown sand. Famous because you can see them in movies.
So, you take your car along the long sinuous roads, you cross villages you wouldn’t believe are part of Auckland since they are lost in green bushy hills, you go even further away, expecting to cross tourist buses and tourist cars because everybody told you you’re going to the most famous beaches. So you’re bound to see lots of people!
And….

Oh well, if that’s a busy beach in New Zealand, it’s fine by me. They might have a chock if they ever go to a French busy beach !
Oh, yes, I can see, there’s someone here !

Ok maybe it’s a busy place if you are a starfish.

But even for the birds those beaches are quiet meditative places.

You just walk along this glittering sand like you would walk on a night sky full of stars.
It’s peacefull, it’s quiet, it’s beautiful, it’s nature…
